		<abstract>We propose a system that builds a Digital Terrain Model (DTM) from a random distributed collection of points in space and also provides an efficient data structure for posterior data processing. First a spatial 3-D triangulation is generated from raw data and then converted into a manageable compressed linear PM1 Octree structure.</abstract>
